TIPS FAQs

How do I get an account for TIPS?
Please visit the sign-up page. We are currently offering our customers a free trial to TIPS.

I'm on TIPS, but I cannot find the book I'm looking for. How do I find it or get it added to the portal?
The best way to find a specific book is to search by the 'serial number', e.g. JM6000. If you cannot find the book, please send an email to vmorin@joy.com or visit the contact page telling us the serial number and what mine the machine is at.

Sometimes machines are moved across between mines or companies and if we don't have that information, you may not be able to find that machine until we correctly assign it to where it belongs. If the book is not on TIPS but we have created and provided to your company an electronic copy of the book, then we will work to add it to the portal as soon as possible.

What computer hardware and software is required to use TIPS?
Please see the System Requirements page.
